CDC Recommended Isolation and Quarantine Period for General Population
If you test positive for COVID-19:
- ISOLATE (Everyone, regardless of vaccination status)
- Stay home for at least 5 days
- If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolved after 5 days, you may return to ballet. A negative test to return to ballet is suggested, but not required. We all want do our very best to keep our friends and faculty safe.
- If your symptoms continue after 5 days, continue to quarantine until your symptoms resolve. A negative test to return to ballet is suggested, but not required.
If you were exposed to someone with COVID-19:
- If you have been boosted OR Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months OR Completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months, then….
- You may come to ballet class if you have no symptoms
- Test on day 5, if possible
- Stay home if you develop symptoms
- If you have completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted OR Completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and are not boosted OR are unvaccinated
- Stay home for 5 days.
- Test of day 5, if possible
- Stay home if you develop symptoms
