Fall 2021

Classes

Our program’s placements are determined by technique, physical development, current age development, and experience with our curriculum. While age is a consideration for placement, our highly experienced and quality educated faculty place students where they will be most successful in dance with physical, emotional, and social health at highest priority. We are not a competitively driven environment. We are a quality instruction and appropriately developed, driven environment.

We require new students (or returning after time off) age 8 and up, to complete an evaluation with one of our staff members before enrolling. You can contact our Enrollment Director, Andrea Halbert for an appointment.

Please review our website information prior to registering and enrolling, if you have not had the chance. We look forward to sharing our love of dance with you this year!

Register: Complete the registration form as a first time student/family and set up your Parent Portal.

Enroll: Select classes for the upcoming year. You can only enroll if you are registered.

About Primary Division

Ages 3-7

Our Primary Division is an essential time for students to develop motor skills and self-awareness as children and dancers. This division is divided into three levels. Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet 1, and Pre-Ballet 2. Students complete Creative Movement in ages 3 – 4, and complete a full year of Pre-Ballet 1 and a full year of Pre-Ballet 2 with BYB’s curriculum, before graduating to Beginner Division.

Current families and dancers will need confirmation by current faculty in order to progress from the Primary level.

New Primary Level Students (or previous BYB students who have not been active for one year or more) ages 7 and younger, must complete Registration and have the Enrollment Director enroll students for their first class/returning class with us.
